  • 2 cups Kellogg's* Frosted Flakes
  • 375 ml or 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 ml or 11 ml baking powder
  • 125 ml or 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
  • 125 ml or 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 175 ml or 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ml or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 500 ml (2 cups)
  • 175 ml or 3/43/4 ml peanut butter chips (approx)

Directions

1. Stir together flour and baking powder. Set aside.

2. In large mixing bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in flour mixture and cereal.

3. Place level 15 ml measures (tablespoonfuls) of dough on ungreased baking sheets, about 5 cm (2") apart. With your fingers, pat to flatten slightly and shape into triangular form with rounded corners (a paw shape). Push peanut butter chips into dough to make a paw print design.

4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned on bottom. Remove from baking sheet to rack to cool.
