Blueberry Kuchen

Ingredients

  • 1.25 L or 55 L Kellogg's Corn Flakes* cereal
  • 300 ml or 1 1/41 1/4 ml Kellogg's Corn Flake Crumbs*
  • 250 ml or 11 ml firmly packed brown sugar
  • 20 ml or 44 ml ground cinnamon
  • 50 ml or 1/41/4 ml margarine or butter
  • 50 ml or 1/41/4 ml chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg or 510510 pkg white cake mix
  • 300 ml or 1 1/41 1/4 ml blueberries,
  • - or - cooking spray

Directions

1. In mixing bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Cut in margarine. Add crushed cereal or crumbs and nuts. Mix until combined.

2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions.

3. Sprinkle half of cereal mixture over bottom of 3.5 L (13 x 9") baking pan coated with cooking spray. Spread batter evenly over cereal mixture. Sprinkle with drained blueberries and remaining cereal mixture, pressing lightly into cake batter.

4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) 35-40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near centre comes out clean. Cut into squares. Serve warm or cold.
