Cheese Loaf
Cheese and walnuts, what’s not to love? Perfect with pork or poultry.

Ingredients

  • 750 ml or 3 cups Special K* Original cereal
  • 3 or - eggs
  • 50 ml or 1/41/4 ml margarine or butter,
  • 500 ml or 22 ml cream-style cottage cheese
  • 1/2 pkg or - dry onion soup mix (do not use individual serving size soup mix)
  • 125 ml or 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 250 ml or 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

1. In large mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add remaining ingredients, stirring until well combined. Spread mixture evenly in greased 20 x 20 x 5 cm (8 x 8 x 2") baking pan.

2. Bake in oven at 175°C (350°F) about 45 minutes or until set. Let stand several minutes before cutting. Serve as a main dish with buttered green vegetables.
