1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
2. In large bowl, combine brown sugar, oil and egg whites. Mix well. Stir in cereal, cherries and cherry juice. Add flour mixture, stirring until combined. Spread evenly in 2 L (8") square baking pan coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with almonds.
3. Bake at 180° C (350° F) about 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Sift icing sugar over surface before cutting into bars.
