Chewy Bars

Ingredients

  • 1.25 L or 55 L Kellogg's Corn Flakes* cereal
  • 1 or - can (300 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 75 ml or 1/3 cup butter,
  • 5 ml or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250 ml or 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 250 ml or 1 cup raisins
  • 250 ml or 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

1. In large mixing bowl, combine condensed milk, butter and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

2. Press mixture firmly into well-greased 3.5 L (13 x 9") baking pan.

3. Bake at 180°C (350°F) 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool on rack. Cut in bars. Store in loosely-covered container.
