Chocolate Marshmallow Crisps

Ingredients

  • 750 ml or 3 cups Rice Krispies* cereal
  • 250 ml or 11 ml semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 75 ml or 1/31/3 ml peanut butter
  • 375 ml or 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows (fresh)

Directions

1.In large saucepan over very low heat, stir chocolate chips and peanut butter until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.**

2.Add cereal and marshmallows, stirring until coated.

3.Press mixture evenly into buttered 2 L (8") square pan. Chill until firm, about 45 minutes. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.

**Microwave Note: In large microwaveable bowl, microwave chocolate and peanut butter at MEDIUM (50%) 2 - 2 1/2 minutes or until mixture can be stirred smooth.
