1. Combine crushed cereal or crumbs, flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
2. In large bowl, beat together sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, egg whites and vanilla. Stir in cereal mixture until thoroughly combined. Drop by rounded 15 mL (1 tbsp) measure onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
3. Bake at 190° C (375° F) about 12 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container.
