Chokky Rocks

Ingredients

  • 250 ml or 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 250 ml or 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 or - eggs
  • 2 ml or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 500 ml or 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 ml or 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 ml or 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 ml or 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 L or 4 cups Kellogg's Corn Flakes* cereal
  • 125 ml or 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 125 ml or 1/2 cup raisins

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Blend in vanilla extract.

2. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Stir into creamed butter and sugar.

3. Fold in 500 ml (2 cups) of the cereal, chocolate chips and raisins. Form into walnut-sized balls and roll in remaining crushed cereal. Bake on greased baking sheets at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes or until just starting to brown. Cool on racks.
