Creole Turkey on a Bun
Add this Louisiana inspired sandwich to your repertoire tonight.

Ingredients

  • 500 g or 11 g lean ground turkey
  • 250 ml or 11 ml chopped onions
  • 250 ml or 11 ml chopped green pepper
  • 1 or - can (14 oz.) whole peeled tomatoes
  • 375 ml or 1 1/21 1/2 ml Special K* Original cereal
  • 2 ml or 1/21/2 ml Cajun seasoning
  • 15 ml or 11 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 50 ml or 1/41/4 ml ketchup
  • 8 or - hamburger buns

Directions

1. In large fry pan, cook turkey, onions and green pepper until meat is browned, stirring frequently. Drain off fat. Stir in tomatoes, cutting into small pieces with spoon. Add Special K* cereal, cajun seasoning, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup. Stir to combine.

2. Cover and cook over low heat about 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve on hamburger buns.
