Crunchy Ham & Cheese Balls

Ingredients

  • 125 ml or 1/21/2 ml boiling water
  • 175 ml or 3/43/4 ml instant mashed potato flakes
  • 50 ml or 1/41/4 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 or - egg
  • 250 ml or 11 ml diced ham (approx. 142 g/ 5 oz)
  • 125 ml or 1/21/2 ml shredded Swiss cheese (57 g/ 2 oz)
  • 50 ml or 1/41/4 ml finely-chopped onion
  • 2 ml or 1/21/2 ml prepared mustard
  • - salt and pepper to season
  • 750 ml or 33 ml Kellogg's Corn Flakes* cereal

Directions

- Mix together water and potato flakes. Stir in remaining ingredients except cereal. Refrigerate until cold, about 30 minutes.

- Shape into 5 cm (1") balls. Roll in crushed cereal.

- Place on lightly-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 180°C (350°F) 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

- Preparation Time:60 minutes + 35 minutes baking
