Fettucine

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pkg (375 g/ 12 oz) medium noodles
  • 30 ml or 2 tbs butter
  • 1 small garlic clove crushed
  • 125 ml or 1/2 cup 10% cream
  • pinch pepper
  • 2 slices luncheon ham cut in thin strips (about 125 ml/ 1/2 cup)
  • 30 ml or 2 tbs finely-chopped fresh parsley
  • 250 ml or 1 cup Kellogg's Corn Flakes* cereal
  • 50 ml or 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Boil noodles in salted water until tender but firm. Drain thoroughly.

2. Meanwhile in large saucepan, heat butter; add garlic and sauti until tender. Blend in cream and pepper and heat over medium heat (do not boil). Add drained noodles and ham; gently stir until mixture is hot. Add parsley, crushed cereal and cheese, mixing well over heat. Serve immediately.
