Holiday Wreaths

Ingredients

  • 125 L or 1/21/2 L margarine or butter
  • 1.25 L or 55 L mini marshmallows or 40 reg (250 g pkg)
  • 5 ml or 11 ml green food coloring
  • 1.5 L or 66 L Kellogg's Corn Flakes* cereal
  • - Red cinnamon candies
  • - Vegetable cooking spray

Directions

1. In large saucepan over low heat, melt margarine. Add marshmallows, stir until melted and blended. Continue to cook until mixture is syrupy. Remove from heat. Stir in food coloring.

2. Add cereal, stirring until coated.

3. Using 50 ml (1/4 cup) measure coated with cooking spray, evenly portion warm cereal mixture. Using buttered fingers, quickly shape into individual wreaths. Dot with cinnamon candies.

Variation:

Press warm cereal mixture into 1.375 L (5 1/2 cup) ring mold coated with cooking spray or shape in ring on serving plate.

Remove from mold and dot with red candies. Slice to serve.
