Hot Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 375 ml or 1 1/21 1/2 ml Special K* Original cereal
  • 750 ml or 33 ml diced cooked chicken
  • 250 ml or 11 ml finely cut celery
  • 50 ml or 1/41/4 ml chopped pitted ripe olives
  • 45 ml or 33 ml cut pimiento
  • 45 ml or 33 ml finely chopped green onions
  • 2 ml or 1/21/2 ml salt
  • 250 ml or 11 ml cooked salad dressing
  • 15 ml or 11 ml margarine or butter,

Directions

1. Crush cereal into coarse crumbs.

2. Combine all ingredients except cereal and butter. Divide chicken salad into 6 creased individual casseroles.

3. Combine cereal with melted butter and sprinkle over chicken salads.

4. Bake in moderately hot oven 200°C (400°F) about 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
