1. Measure onion, celery and butter into a 4-cup glass measuring cup or medium glass bowl. Microwave on HI for about 4 minutes or until celery is tender. (Alternately, cook in skillet until tender.)
2. In large glass bowl, combine bread cubes, cereal, walnuts, poultry seasoning and salt. Add onion mixture; toss gently to coat. Stir in broth, mixing lightly until moistened.
3. Stuff into turkey cavity. Cook as turkey as directed. Remove stuffing and keep warm while carving turkey.
4. Alternately, cover bowl with plastic wrap, poking in several places to allow steam to escape. Microwave on HI for 5 minutes. Stir gently; microwave for 5 minutes more. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
5. To Bake Stuffing: Place prepared stuffing in large casserole. Cover and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer.
Variation: Nutty Apple-Raisin Stuffing- Add 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) chopped apples and 125 ml (1/2 cup) raisins to bread cubes mixture, and increase broth to 750 ml (3 cups).
