Special K* Low Fat Granola Peaches and Cream Smoothie Parfaits
This parfait has all the flavours of a traditional peaches and cream dessert in a healthy lower fat version.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) honey
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups (325 mL) chopped peaches
  • 2 cups (500 mL) Special K* Low Fat Granola

Directions

1. In blender, mix together yogurt, banana, honey and vanilla until smooth.

2. In four 1-cup (250 mL) Mason jars, layer smoothie mixture, peaches and granola, repeating layers twice.

Tips: Both thawed frozen or fresh peaches can be used if desired. Alternatively, turn the parfaits into smoothie bowls by adding smoothie to bowls and topping with peaches and granola.
