Sundae

Sundae
Great for parties! These frosty treats are best eaten within a few hours of preparation, when their colourful cereal coating is still super crunchy!

Ingredients

  • 1 L or 44 L vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 875 ml or 3 1/2 cup Froot Loops* cereal
  • 875 ml or 3 1/2 cup Froot Loops* 1/3 less Sugar than Original cereal
  • - or - ice cream topping (optional)

Directions

1. Using about 125 ml (1/2 cup) per ball, shape ice cream or frozen yogurt into 8 balls about 6 cm (22") in diameter. Roll each ball quickly in cereal until well coated, pressing cereal pieces firmly into surface of ice cream ball. Freeze until firm, about 1 hour.

2. Serve with favourite ice cream topping. Or, for birthdays, insert a small birthday candle into the top of each sundae.

Yield: 8 sundaes
