Broccoli-Carrot Bake

Broccoli-Carrot Bake
Warm your soul with this crunchy baked treat. Goes great with your favourite roast - chicken or beef.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml or 22 ml Special K* Original cereal
  • 10 ml or 22 ml margarine,
  • 2 pkgs or - (10 oz each) frozen chopped broccoli,
  • 250 ml or 1 cup frozen sliced carrots,
  • 1 or - can (10 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 125 ml or 1/2 cup skim milk
  • - or - paprika

Directions

1. Coat a 1-quart glass baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside. Combine Special K* cereal with margarine. Set aside for topping.

2. Drain broccoli well. Spread vegetables in prepared baking dish.

3. Stir together soup and milk. Pour over vegetables. Sprinkle evenly with topping. Sprinkle with paprika.

4. Bake at 190°C (375°F) about 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
