Family Tuna Noodle Casserole
So yummy your kids won’t even notice there’s broccoli baked in.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml or 2 cups uncooked small pasta shells or macaroni
  • 750 ml or 3 cups chopped broccoli (about 1 small bunch)
  • 2 or - cans (170 g each) water-packed tuna, drained
  • 1 or - can (10 oz / 284 ml) condensed cream of broccoli soup
  • 250 ml or 1 cup 1 % milk
  • 375 ml or 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pinch or - pepper
  • 175 ml or 3/4 cup Special K* cereal
  • 30 ml or 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. Lightly grease 9 x 13 inch (3 L) glass baking dish or spray with nonstick cooking spray.

3. In saucepan of boiling water, cook pasta according to package directions, adding broccoli for the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and place in baking dish.

4. In same saucepan, blend together tuna, soup, milk, Cheddar cheese and pepper; pour over pasta mixture and gently combine.

5. Sprinkle with cereal and Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbling.
