Mini Wheats* Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl
With this hearty smoothie bowl, you’ll be able to feel full and satisfied any morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups or 625 ml Sliced strawberries,divided
  • 2 Frozen bananas
  • 1 1/3 cups or 325 ml Milk
  • 1/2 cup or 125 ml Ice
  • 1 tbsp or 15 ml Honey
  • 2 cups or 500 ml Mini Wheats* Brown Sugar cereal
  • 1 Banana, sliced
  • 4 tsp or 20 ml Chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup or 60 ml Chopped almonds

Directions

1. In blender, combine 2 cups (500 mL) sliced strawberries, frozen bananas, milk, ice and honey; mix until smooth.

2. Divide smoothie among 4 bowls. Top with cereal, sliced banana, remaining strawberries, chia seeds and almonds.

Tips:

- Substitute hemp seeds or flax seeds for the chia seeds if desired.

- For a dairy-free alternative, substitute almond milk or soy milk for the milk.
